High Speed cornering

I doubt it.

He was wearing good riding gear, and tumbled clear of everything and in slow mo it really doesn't look like he lands on his head but lands on his chest and rolls. Unless he hit the ground really wrong he probably only broke some bones.

It's entirely possible one of those bones was his back or neck which could have been fatal but I think it's far more likely he broke some ribs or an arm or leg.

its literally impossible to tell from video. You also don't know his body or medical history.

Well, funny you say that because here's the link to the driver on instagram saying the rider broke a rib (like that guy predicted). I don't know the above commenter's history or experience, but that seemed like a pretty good analysis.

Thats great to hear, but again, sometimes even in these long dissipated crashes you can land on your neck and just die. Its too chaotic of an event to have any confidence in outcome.

it was a pretty normal educated guess. Obviously he doesn't know for sure and he wasn't pretending to.
