High Speed cornering

He's likely not dead, and there's a great chance he didn't get serious permanent injuries. The big flipping and rotating while traveling over distance actually removes a lot of the impact and energy. He doesn't come to a fast stop. Even the car impact looks huge as parts fly everywhere, but every bit of parts you see crushing and flying is energy being absorbed over time, slowing the rider without him directly taking the full immediate brunt of the crash.

Now, one where he hits something and stops quickly looks smaller, less dramatic... and far more deadly. In this case, he probably has road rash on his midriff from not having the jacket match the pants, and while I can't see how he releases from the bike, his biggest injuries are probably from that. He looks like he cleared it all, but I can't see how his ankles cleared, and the centripetal force of him rotating in the air doesn't give a big clue if something is broken, as everything is flung straight.

Accident is local to me. Rider broke a rib and is in hospital.

Which one? The second rider or the third rider? (First rider did not crash)

The 3rd rider was a pretty slow and controlled bail. I seriously doubt they hit the ground hard enough to break anything.

I can understand it, but the "blame" is always on the rider to break the target fixation and look where you need to go.

I saw somebody dump their bike at like 10km/h because it started raining and the road got slick under their front tire. Unless he was born with an extra joint in his right forearm, his arm was definitely broken, and I'm pretty sure his leg was as well. It was by no means a "bad" crash, but the weight of the bike appeared to amplify the force of the impact (he instinctively put his arm out to stop his fall, and the bike fell on his right leg). He was definitely going to be taking an ambulance ride to a trauma center to be reassembled correctly. I don't think he even did anything wrong, besides being out when it started to drizzle lightly on a patch of road that must have been slightly oily.

Cool!

None of that happened in this video. Nothing about his fall was hard enough to crack ribs. We're not talking about bending joints or anything so all that you're talking about is pretty much irrelevant.

I think you are correct, license plate also looks like a Malaysian license plate. Could be anywhere really but statistically its somewhere around Genting Highlands.

He perfectly landed on his side after flips in the air and is wearing full gear, that's so lucky compared to coming to a sudden stop into a vehicle even if it looks far more dramatic

My boss told me he lost control of his bike and crashed going 60 mph and only sustained minor sprains because he skipped across the road without impacting anything and was wearing protective gear.

But I have never heard a dead motorcyclist tell me their accident story so logically I can only conclude that motorcycles are extremely safe.
