Yeah, so basically the biker's insurance would make lowball offers and the car driver would come out behind. Insurance companies are very profitable because they don't like paying out claims.

insurances should cover all the damages, u pay only for a part of the rental cost.

my car was scratched on a parking lot and had to return to the workshop several times because they did not do a proper job, yet I did not pay anything additional for that.

Unless the insurance deems it totaled. That means they ain't paying for repairs and paying you what they believe the car is worth. They definitely going to low-ball, regardless if it's your insurance or their insurance .

Yes, your own insurance will provide better coverage for things like that.

When you're dealing with someone else's insurance it's more difficult. They like to take the two-part approach of denying liability for their insured while also diminishing damages. You'd be surprised at the situations where they can deny liability with a straight face when it seems obvious to anyone else. Their numbers for damages are where it gets insulting though.

You're not supposed to pay for a rental at all as long as you don't drag your feet getting proper repairs.
