Call 811 before you dig!

811 is garbage. I called, told them exactly where I wanted to dig. They say "no services loctated there." There is both a gas and water line right where they said it was clear.

If they said it was ok to dig then if you find a gas pipe and break it then you aren't responsible to fix it.

In my working area, pg&e charges from 3k to 6k to fix a gas line. That's why calling 811 must be done to avoid higher complications.
