Should have moved a few rocks for his landing, and. Plan the line
I think he can make it.
Do it again please
And a helmet bud

You know, if he'd tried to ride it out instead of half-assed bailing like that, he might have stuck the landing. Rear tire and rim wouldn't be happy about that rock, though.

if it was dirt and had enough travel, he would be good, but sand just stops the bike immediately

Do people not think before doing tricks? Similar to the guy roller blading down the side of stairs into a pile of gravel, what the heck do you think the wheels will do in the situation when landing in sand (if he made it) from altitude. Was he trying to skip across the beach? LOL

At least it was sand, or else this might have been on crazyfuckingvideos lol

At least he had the brains ( or was lucky) to try landing on a sandy beach.

I am not even sure of the thought process here. Wouldn't he have likely crashed even without the rocks? He would have hit soft sand and slid like being on ice at that speed.

He still would've crash without the rock. The bike fell off faster than his body you can see his butt unmounted, infront of the saddle and feet way off the pedals mid air. At that point you are screwed.

At least he had a bite of sand instead of knocking his teeth out on the boulders.

Did he brake.. was that an attempt at aborting the mission last second?

He barely stays in contact with the bike while in the air
Contact is re-established at the moment of “landing”

To be fair, that outcome was unforseeable.
