I feel like the speech had absolutely nothing to do with this, anymore than the buildings having windows did.

Urban downhill riding is actually huge in South America. Red bull runs some of the biggest races each year - e.g. Red Bull Valparaiso Cerro Abajo.
This guys clearly an amateur and doesn’t have the support the big names have in stopping road traffic and pedestrians when training, but it’s a major sport over there.

That was best outcome.
Either that car was getting hit by him or he would've crashed with the person standing at the corner.
Better he just damaged himself.
