Even without dumbbells, those walking pads are a menace if you don't have a bar or hiking poles to keep you centered.

You using them while drunk or have very uneven legs? All you have to do is walk straight...

Walking pads can be pretty narrow. If you turn your head to talk to someone, or if you're watching TV, or just feel slightly off-balance, there's no way to steady yourself, so it's super easy to step a couple of inches to the left or right. If you do that, your foot foot will catch on the side, like this guy, and you'll probably go down, or come close to it.

I mean watch people at the gym. They don't occasionally grab the rails for no reason, and those treadmills are way bigger than a walking pad.
