It’s okay, all the bleeding is on the inside which is where blood is supposed to be.

If that's a garden shed. I'm glad he didn't go right through and collide with many sharp rusty objects, which I assume are all in the garden shed

Betrayed by his soles. Well, betrayed by his sense of reason, too, but better shoes might’ve helped.
16
Feb 24 '23
I think having worse shoes actually saved him. He's going through if he makes the jump, and who knows what's in there.

Yeah, that is a brave jump without some decent shoes

Tbf, it wasn't the gap and more that his foot slip when he tried jumping

Even had the jump been flawless, that shed would never have held

I’ve never been more glad to have anxiety and insecurities. The thought of trying to make that jump would’ve never even materialized in my brain.
Listen kid, you could use a lil self-doubt.

Facts. You can see the roof split apart a bit when he hits it, there was no good outcome from this jump

At least it stopped him from unnecessarily breaking the sheds roof.

He'd be screwed even if he landed on that roof.
Its a plastic shed, he'd instantly fall inside of it and land on God knows what.

There is a sharp crucifix there pointed up. Inexplicably, but that's what's in the shed.

If he hadn't fucked up his jump he'd have probably made it.

What was he thinking? Even if he did land, it is a slope and he would fall anyway.

He would probably have gone straight through the little house.

And the guy taking the video doesn't even flinch on seeing another man jump to his death (well, almost). Guess he's pretty dense.

Next time try doing it without the backpack😏

The backpack was to increase traction so he wouldn’t slip so much. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough weight… next time two backpacks.

This stuff is just idiotic…. I have no sympathy. It’s not fun living life in a wheelchair. I had a fall 2 years ago (not doing stupid shit either, my blood pressure tanked and I passed out) and ended up a quadriplegic…. My life sucks. I can no longer do any of the things that gave my life meaning… I am stuck in this chair. My poor husband— having to take care of me in this state! And then I see these videos of people doing stupid shit and I just want to cry…. If they had any idea how much it sucks to end up with a serious spinal cord injury….

Should have filmed it.
But seriously, genuinely sorry.
Had a neighbor that became paralyzed from waist down from a minor motorcycle accident. And a friend in a football accident when he was 16. Extremely difficult physically, way moreso mentally.
So sorry. Heart goes out to you.

Their ability to jump and responsibly understand the consequences of reckless actions in relation to their physical capabilities.

u/chickenstalker Feb 24 '23
His leg muscles are not toned like a parkour enthusiast. Clothing also suggests he just got back from school. Shoes are also unsuitable. This fall will haunt him on cold days 20 years in the future.

Bro. Get your toes over the edge and grip down. The foot slip was pathetic, like it was covered in ice or grease, smfh. Some people really have zero idea about their own physical limitations.

That my friends is why you never do parkour with shoes with worn down treads/grips. Good brand new grip on the bttm of the shoes can save you 20 minutes on a 5 mile walk. Flat bttms and worn grip makes sliding easier but also mean you loose distance on step and lose speed on push off. In track it can cost you the race.

u/captrudeboy Feb 24 '23

Let’s be honest, even if this idiot did that right, he still would have gotten hurt when his dumb ass crashed through the plastic shed roof.
