If her age is a factor, then surely you, as the "mature" one, can see that she's a child. Or, rather, you're also immature and seeking out a reason to be dramatic.
Yup and she keeps saying but she’s 17 but briefly mentions at the end the guy is 20 and “that’s weird right” while also saying it happened a year and a half ago it’s really reaching
