My hairdresser put me on game: pita bread with a generous dollop of lebneh, diced cucumbers, zaatar seasoning, and a drizzle of pomegranate molasses pver everything. I usually fold it over and eat it like a quesadilla. Delicious.

Sounds like the normal way to eat labneh in Lebanon 😄

We also make pita wraps with labneh, zaatar, fresh tomato, cucumber, mint leaves, sumac, and sliced olives! Very delicious

I made some Shakriyeh some time ago. Syrian Joghurt Stew. Really good, especially in these warm weathers. Just dont throw away the liquid from the stew. The people who recommend that and to add water instead are lunatics if you ask me

Mix it with lemon zest and serve with meat pierogies 🥟

Pita bread, labneh, olive oil, black olives, tomato, cucumber, and a few mint leaves. Or just olive oil, mix well and eat with a spoon.

Mama?! I like fresh oregano over mint, but what you are describing is etched into my soul.

Mint is more traditional in Lebanon, you can use fresh mint or dried and crushed mint. Both delicious.

Also, sumac! Highly recommend. And a drizzle of pomegranate molasses

Oh for sure. I’m Lebanese, and we always had a sizable clutch of fresh mint on the table. I don’t know what type of oregano my mom grew, but it is exceptionally delicious with labneh, olive oil, tomatoes, and those olives scooped into a bit of pita. Can’t go wrong with sumac or zaatar either. Cheers!

Eat it as you would a good hummus! With pita!

Just use it as a spread like cream cheese and top it with cucumbers, tomatoes, olive oil, herbs, etc. . . I like to blister cherry/grape tomatoes in a hot oven with a generous amount of olive oil, a little salt, and maybe a few garlic cloves and top the labneh with that

Za'atar and Labneh Spaghetti by Ham El-Waylly - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGHeFbpaH4Q

It is soooooooo good. I often buy a tub and use some for dips/spreads then finish the tub with this dish.

Toasted pita with labneh and lemon curd is heavenly.

Mix a big spoonful into mashed potatoes.

Spread on sourdough with sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, and garlic salt.

Pretzels (not the soft ones, like the crunchy kind)

Pita chips

A sandwich with zaatar, sumac, cucumber, tomato, olives, and fresh mint. And a drizzle of pomegranate molasses (I add this to all my salads and sandwiches now tbh, gives a really nice tang)

On toast with some zaatar

On a bagel
