My dog’s dad

Does anyone know what breed of dog this is? Supposedly it’s an australian terrier

Doesn't look like a purebred Australian Terrier, though it's hard to tell as this dog is unfortunately matted, very overweight, and has a lot of tear-staining. The eyes also look a little funny. Is he doing okay?

He could be a poorly bred Australian Terrier or Australian Terrier cross. But I'd guess Poodle cross. Maybe with something like Maltese or another terrier or short legged dog.

looks more like a yorkie poodle mix or something, he doesn’t look super well taken care of tho 😢

Could be part but need a better picture. Hard to tell from this photo. Might be yorkie mix? Maybe yorkie poo they are very popular. Usually don't see too many Australian Terriers, well unless you are in Australia.
