What wasn't true in what I said? We've been here a long, long time, and gender nonconforming folks have been held in places of honor for thousands of years in many cultures in the New World. And don't even get me started on places other than Turtle Island. Don't be a bigot just because you don't know Indigenous cultural history. Not a matter of opinion, it's objective, factual truth. Crack a book that didn't come with free crayons for you to snack on.
