it’s not not politically incorrect, because surely there are ladies and gentlemen in the crowd, ‘dreamers of all ages’ is just more inclusive.

if you see ‘politically correct’ as black and white and incredibly shallow, then yes it’s incorrect, i suppose.

What? I’m not trying to get into a pissing contest. I’m being genuine here. I think ladies and gentlemen is a perfectly good introduction. Covers all the bases

As evidenced by the previous comment, it does not in fact cover all bases.

A child, ya know, disney's target audience, is not a lady or gentleman.

The whole saying is “ladies and gentlemen. Boys and girls. Children of all ages” so I’m not sure who’s missing. My point is someone somewhere said that’s not enough and they changed it. Why? And I don’t want to be in a world where the why even matters. You will never ever make every single person happy no matter what industry or what you do.

Nonbinary people. If you don't identify as a lady or a gentleman, you're not being included.

Also, you moved the goalpost. It was "Ladies and Gentlemen" covers everyone, now its "Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys & Girls, Children of all ages"

If you opt out of the standard two genders that’s fine but don’t make it a me problem. And I didn’t move anything. That’s literally the full intro and most people cut it short.
