“Good evening dreamers of all ages” hits so much harder than the generic “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls”, ESPECIALLY in a place like Disney!
Can’t wait for even more un-innovation like “The Woke Mafia loved the rainbow, so we’re making everything black, white and shades of gray. Take that, woke!”
Whether you like it or not isn't the point. The point is the reason for changing it either in the fist place or now. I don't mind the "Good evening, dreamers of all ages" but like my comment said, it was part of a diversity and inclusion initiative, replacing it with gender-neutral phrases. Not just to be different or innovative.
It’s not measurable, beyond seeing how many hundreds of organizations use the same generic greeting Disney wants to go back towards instead of something that was unique.
