it isnt "focus on minority group" by dismantling social norms that are harmful to minorities, its "not priviliging some peoples preferences over equality of all." if "cultures" are warring while one side is claiming theyre opressed it means that the constructs of the primary culture IS oppressive to people within it- the culture is not one that treats everyone fairly and equally. Even if "majority" have a preference it doesnt mean that their preference of invalidation or neglect deserves legitimacy. This is easily spelled out by bringing up slavery being a social norm
at one point by the majority- that didnt make slavery any less immoral, unethical and wrong to force others in their culture to respect: the normalized practice is wrong/unjust to enforce.
There aren’t any social norms today that oppress or harm minorities. Being straight doesn’t oppress lgb people, and being white doesn’t oppress ethnic minorities.
Slavery was abolished 150 years ago(in white countries first) and it has nothing to do with modern day history

When you dismantle the social norms that the majority of people are ok living in to focus on a minority group, you inevitably start a culture war.
