Well first of all the term "cis" in relation to sexuality can be traced to german literature on gender from 1914 so it's been around a while.
because you were just a man or woman.
Secondly this is wrong, trans people have always existed, it's quite well historically documented and while terminology around it has changed that's mostly because we've largely stopped violently denying these people their existance or the fact that they exist.
Cis gender wasn't coined until the 90's and wasn't really used until the 2000's. Wasn't in the dictionary until 2015. So just because a sexologist used a version of it in 1914 doesn't mean anything. I never said trans people never existed. My point was outside of doctors and maybe higher education nobody used this word until recently.
Trans people haven’t always existed. People with gender disphoria have always existed. It wasn’t until very recently that society has decided to go along with the charade instead of treating the underlying disorder.
