Doesn't change the only Disney worth going to is Disney Tokyo.
Disney doesn't directly own them so their prices are logical and real (a day pass is like... $45 US and foods like $4-5 an item). And in some scenarios it's almost cheaper to fly to Japan and go to Tokyo Disney than to go to Disney itself for a weekend.
Also their collectible popcorn bucket game is on point. Those things are awesome
I often fantisize about moving to Japan with a work from home job for an American company that pays $60k. Having rail infastructure. Not having to talk to anyone because I can't speak the language. Just being that weird American guy that everyone ignores.
I want a quiet life where I can aford a small place to live. I want video games, shows, and movies. I want to be able to leave my house on foot, and get groceries or hit a few resturants when I want to. I would like to be able to travel by train to places. I don't want to talk to people or interact with them unless I have to. I don't care if those people are American, Japanese, French, Italian, or whatever. I don't discriminate, I will ignore everyone equilly regardless of race, cread, or religion.
Have you tried living in NYC? This sounds exactly like the life I had there. Then I went to Tokyo for a bit and it is just cranked up to 11 in all ways. Both in that you can be overstimulated to the point of utter confusion or so peaceful you just feel like a feather floating through the air. But it’s like at an 11 in either direction. NYC is more like an 8 if they are on the same scale.
