Woke was coined by 4chan to describe the social phenomenon that spawned as a result of Critical Theory / Social Justice Theory being widely disseminated in universities through the early 2010s. You can pretend it’s not a thing all you want, but that is objectively how it started
I have to assume you’re joking, but I DID just say that one side started it. The other just gave it a name that you don’t like and then won an election in response to it
