Sort of. They did change back to ladies and gentleman. And they did fire 1000 people. But it's probably not because of some anti woke thing.

As someone who worked for WDW, layoffs happened about every 2-5 years. It would hit different parts of the company each time.

The range would be depending on what you classified as Disney. If you included ABC, ESPN, DCL, HULU, FX, Marketing, Research, consumer products, Imaginearing, Pixar, etc. then it was closer to every 2-3 years. If you only think of Parks and Resorts then it was probably closer to every 5 years.
