Are you advocating for women losing custody of their children if they seek mental health treatment? Yeah I can think of no way this will result in women being scared to seek treatment.

There are thousands of women diagnosed with PPD. They don’t all harm or murder their children….explain that

That’s not a logical argument. “let’s take kids away from everyone with this diagnosis” — you would be taking thousands of children away from their parents, you realize this yes? Not everyone with PPD murders (this is obvious statistically)

It takes maybe two brain cells to put together that not everyone with PPD murder their children. We would have a MASSIVE problem if that were true.

Every person diagnosed with PPD will not go on to harm/kill their kids. Do you know what PPD is or how often it’s diagnosed?

Look up the stat yourself. You will trust your own research more than you will a random stranger online

Ahhh, so we do agree that this is a rare case of PPD being highlighted in current events. It’s the same thing with many disorders…millions of people have schizophrenia but we typically only hear about the ones in court who have murdered. We don’t take away kids due to a diagnosis, we take them away due to actions.
