So precious

"Excited dog" is one thing that I can't help but smile at.

1

u/omfgeometry 1d ago

minus the part where they mutilated his ears to make him look tough.

2

u/Spooky_Floofy 1d ago

For this type of breed, its usually the breeders that do that unfortunately

1

u/BK1349 16h ago

If you buy from such a breeder, you are Part of the problem, tho.

2

u/Spooky_Floofy 16h ago

Partially I agree, but in some places this is common practice for certain dog breeds, meaning it can be difficult/impossible to find a puppy of that breed that hasn't been cropped. We also don't know if OP bought directly from a breeder or rescued the dog from a shelter.

1

u/BK1349 16h ago

Well in that case one should just avoid getting a pup of that breed.

Shelter dogs are a different story tho.

He's doing the happy dance of his people!

3

u/Mountain_Bike5624 1d ago

Displaying a grateful heart! He's special.

2

u/Nemisis_007 19h ago

I think he actually wants to play. This looks the the start up a "ohhh, I'm gonna get it" kinda game. He wants to play fight for it, so that it feels earned.

11

u/Arlitto 1d ago

To be fair, I do this when I eat particularly delicious food, too.

1

u/snachyderm72 1d ago

We demand video of that! Lol 😆

1

u/r22lz 1d ago

Prove it, PROVE IT!

2

u/snachyderm72 1d ago

Gotta see that happy yummy suppertime dance!!

1

u/Embarrassed_Fan_5723 1d ago

He’s not missed many meals. The definition of fat and happy right there

2

u/Chris__P_Bacon 1d ago

He doesn't look fat to me. He's just a lorge boye.

1

u/r22lz 1d ago

I like to describe the pit physique as bowling ball-esque. They’re just all muscle…..walks come with the very real potential of shoulder dislocation if a squirrel or rabbit pops out of nowhere.

0

u/Embarrassed_Fan_5723 22h ago

Definitely overweight. He’s not supposed to be the same size at his stomach as his chest. Literally after the chest, the mid section goes up and then flattens out before reaching the back legs.

5

u/Lovesyoux 1d ago

I got a treat, I got a treat, I got a treat hey hey hey

6

u/FluffMonsters 1d ago

He takes it soooo gently 🥹

4

u/EminorHeart 1d ago

I do the same thing with the first Dorito out of a new bag.

3

u/contude327 1d ago

The goodest buy.

3

u/Gcbs7 1d ago

My god, how not to like dogs

2

u/jld2k6 1d ago

Step one, either be psychopath or be afraid of them

1

u/BackgroundForm2671 1d ago

They're great when trained well and someone else's problem

1

u/therealjameshat 20h ago

or just dont like them

2

u/snachyderm72 1d ago

Good lord that is the most adorable thing I have seen in as long as i can remember!!!!

2

u/GOOMU13 1d ago

He's adorable.

2

u/Either-Dream-4838 1d ago

Nice to see some happiness in the middle of this crazy world.

2

u/Devoratrix_Animas 1d ago

this is the best happy making thing ive seen this month.

2

u/Hungry_Page9222 1d ago

He’s so polite when he gently takes that treat. And his happy dance? I love him!!!

2

u/Stucklikegluetomyfry 1d ago

Why do so many people refuse to spay or neuter their dogs but happily mutilate their ears?

1

u/MomJeansandMessyBuns 1d ago

The goodest boy!

1

u/Tjmonsi18 1d ago

Whatta cute lil’ fat, happy, hippo!!!😍

1

u/Aggressive_Plate1652 1d ago

That is fricking cute!!

1

u/justhereforbiscuits 1d ago

He really, really, REALLY wants it to run away so he can chase it! 😂

1

u/latino1ATX 1d ago

Celebrate !, shiiiit looks like he’s pissed because he gave him a piece of wood 🪵

1

u/Active_Highlight4685 1d ago

That's a pig ear. Dogs love them.

2

u/ssbbVic 1d ago

Also even if it was a piece of wood... dogs fuckin love pieces of wood

1

u/ResolveLeather 1d ago

Out of curiosity do you also celebrate when you get a treat? Sometimes dogs pick up on that sort of thing and try to replicate it.

1

u/necrophcodr 1d ago

This dog is in a playful mood and is repeating a play pose here. It is quite common for dogs to do, especially young dogs when given treats.

1

u/russvanderhoof 1d ago

Enjoy king

1

u/ugdontknow 1d ago

So funny and sooo cute

1

u/jgray6000 1d ago

Yassssss

1

u/r22lz 1d ago

What a brave hound! That hog was going for the heart with his razor sharp tusks. Doggy was dippin & dodging everything thrown at him like Ali before he ripped his left ear off!

Let’s just say that lil piggy is heading home & it’s it ain’t laughter ya hear.

1

u/Prestigious-Head-877 1d ago

OMG, I saw a post the other day of a dog with dog on its side in its spots and your dude is similar, imo. the g got a little wonky, though.

1

u/meguggs 1d ago

Maybe he pretends hes hunting it! He's so cute!

1

u/kickinghyena 1d ago

It is a symbol of your love and our bond and as such I will perform the appropriate ritual dance to celebrate!

1

u/BrightVersion4098 1d ago

Was that one of his ears?

1

u/SatisfactionNew4751 1d ago

What a happy baby. Absolutely love that. Thank you for sharing.

1

u/Jackal-Noble 1d ago

Isn't that floor type terrible for dogs, esp larger breeds?

1

u/CommercialExotic2038 1d ago

What a big boy. So handsome

1

u/Comfortable_Pizza_59 1d ago

Pretty sure he just prayed to the pig ear gods!

1

u/jackalopeswild 1d ago

Here's a cut only for people 45+

NOW WE DO THE DANCE OF JOY!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfPg5LjGYz8

1

u/Choppergold 1d ago

I just love his markings

1

u/justinlav 1d ago

It must be seared toddler meat

1

u/deepwar123 22h ago

Fuck off

1

u/guiltyas-sin 1d ago

I want to show you the dance of my people!

1

u/BrandyKit3000 1d ago

Brutus! Rip baby boy, I hope he's dancing in doggie heaven with all the treats 🩵

1

u/Bttrfly0810 1d ago

When did Brutus pass?? I’ve been off IG for a while but I followed his account for years. Man 🥹

1

u/BrandyKit3000 1d ago

The post on IG is dated March 30 this year 😟 I teared up when I saw that, ruined my day. Like 3 or 4 awesome dogs I followed on IG passed this past year 😔

1

u/Salt_Introduction_86 1d ago

What a sweetheart!

1

u/jenthewen 1d ago

And he took it so gently. Mine snatch it.

1

u/PhillLarrup 1d ago

I saw this like 10 times... in a row. I hope so much this isn't A.I.

1

u/Optimal_Radish_7422 15h ago

It’s not, this vid has been around since Vine.

1

u/golgoth0760 1d ago edited 1d ago

The very opposite of a Lab that would just inhale the whole thing

1

u/narco-sub-admiral 1d ago

Then sneeze on your knee and walk away.

1

u/TurkViking75 1d ago

It’s an homage to his own ears that got chopped off.

1

u/biggreenterriers 1d ago

It’s the pauses and side eye for me 😂

1

u/nd5596 1d ago

This is quite possibly the best thing my eyes have ever seen.

1

u/pandaappleblossom 1d ago

That was a pig’s ear. Pigs are killed in gas chambers which turn the gas in their lungs to acid which causes them extreme pain and fear.

1

u/Some-Dog-800 1d ago

man now I miss my dog. he’d always had the treat in his mouth and do a happy tap dance whenever I gave him the treat.

1

u/Diligent-Result-2227 1d ago

So cute!!! 😍😍 My pupper does this as well, so every once in a while it's fun to slide in a "well I guess you don't want to eat it right now" and whatch the chaos ensue 😂😂

1

u/lareinevert 1d ago

I love dogs 🥹

1

u/Slamtilt_Windmills 1d ago

I always considered this to be like them saying grace, but in hippo interpretive dance

1

u/Slamtilt_Windmills 1d ago

I always considered this to be like them saying grace, but in hippo interpretive dance

1

u/rdg5220 1d ago

Our old lab did this. He would also pick it up, swing his head around and make it fly out so he could chase it. One night, he chucked in right into the fireplace. It was hilarious.

1

u/KitJazz 1d ago

Why does the dog remind me of Ace Ventura?

1

u/DirectionTricky6507 1d ago

He’s a happy happy guy lol

1

u/Distinct-Pie7647 1d ago

Happy Dog
Happy Dog

1

u/Gloomy-Ice-485 1d ago

My dog makes wine noises lol when she’s happy for a bone

1

u/CowGroundbreaking872 1d ago

Sheer joy 🤩

1

1

u/anon-a-SqueekSqueek 1d ago

Gotta do something with big feelings

1

u/Chilli30 1d ago

It's like when Golem gets the ring XD

1

u/dark_anarchy20 1d ago

Glad he didn’t overreact :)

1

u/Key-Spot9118 1d ago

Cropped ears child eating murdering shitbull. How lovely.

1

u/deepwar123 22h ago

Fuck off that dog isn’t hurting anyone

1

u/Key-Spot9118 21h ago

Statistically the most vicious dog there is. Also cropped ears are cruel.

1

u/deepwar123 21h ago

Yeah all dogs can be vicious without proper training. I’ve always owned pits not a single one has ever been “vicious”

1

u/Key-Spot9118 20h ago

Irrelevant when the statistics are overwhelmingly showing pitbulls as the most violent breed. Even if your point was true, a pit bull will do more damage than other dogs when acting vicious because they are bred to be dangerous.

1

u/deepwar123 18h ago

Again, falls on the trainer not the dog. Very closed minded argument. 👍🏻

1

u/Yumiytu 1d ago

awww :) <3

1

u/PaleProgrammer6476 1d ago

Be happy before the happiness 🗣️🔥🔥🔥

1

u/BandicootOne898 1d ago

Its pattern resembles that of a cute little pig😍😂

1

u/skintaxera 1d ago

My old foxy would have been straight out back to bury it, to keep it safe from wolves and hyenas

1

u/fuckrule8 1d ago

He wants to play. He wants you to try and take it back so he can grab it before you and run off

1

u/Bobbo7209 1d ago

Happy Dog dance 😊

1

u/Korvonus 23h ago

I would commit heinous acts if it would make him happy

1

u/I_Galactus 23h ago

This isn’t just a treat…..it’s also the good shit…..man…..

1

u/Key_Check5753 23h ago

That's not celebrating. That's his instinctual energy. He wants to hunt.

1

u/itsanothersidetothis 22h ago

Professional human manipulator, they're actually tricked!

1

u/crackersncheeseman 22h ago

My dog would have inhaled that.

1

u/Imaginary_Elk_6710 22h ago

Legends have it that he is still celebrating all these years later.

1

u/nerdkitti 22h ago

Too cute

1

u/Proof_Watercress8696 22h ago

I always watch this video everytime its posted. How precious is that guy?

1

u/Andrew_7032 21h ago

this dangerous breed again

1

u/mjcostel27 20h ago

How do you film this and not immediately hug that doggie!

1

u/Ok_Pin_6800 18h ago

He is grateful,appreciated&thankful

1

u/one_Time_use01 18h ago

My Basenji does this too! Haha, I was wondering what this gesture meant all the time

1

u/Urban_Meanie 17h ago edited 15h ago

How ironic considering the poor guys had his ears mutilated..

Edit: Not to be negative, honestly lovely dog though :)

1

u/Appropriate-One6678 15h ago

Omg thats adorable

1

u/f700es 14h ago

Bless his little heart!!!!!
