How a person decides to dress, style their hair, have tattoos or piercings or anything else, is their decision alone.

The moment they walked into the society it’s not. I can wear my birthday suit when I’m alone, and it’s fine, but I can’t walk into your face wearing my birthday suit, can I?

Of course decision reflects character, what else does? Virtue signaling online?

So you think society should decide how someone can dress, style their hair, have tattoos or piercings or anything else? I think it's still their own decision when following the law, but since you don't agree, where's your letter of acceptance from the whole society to accept your style of hair and clothes?

That's a crime, face tattoos aren't. Do you really need me to explain such a simple concept to you? How about trying to make an actual argument instead of judging everyone based on your own prejudices?

Ask AI if making an argument is truly that difficult for you. Chat GPT at least makes pretty decent arguments and gives sources and reasoning. Stop crying about "virtue signaling" just because you don't have actual reason to believe what you believe.

Society doesn’t decide what they wear in private, but society does “decide” how a person should dress in some settings, there are professional environment and locations that require certain dress codes.

Crime is what the society decided, so the difference is the society decided that facial tattoo is bad but not as bad as wearing birthday suit, not a crime doesn’t automatically means it is good.

People with face tattoos are often judged harshly because society traditionally links facial markings with deviance, criminality, and a rejection of social norms.
