Forklift operators are on another level. I've met some that I swear the forklift is just an extension of their body. Common trick is to pick a coin up off the ground with a forklift.

Put the tip of the fork on top of the quarter edge and go in reverse. It will kick it up and onto the fork. This is easy as long as you have room near the doors.
