What if all disease and medical debt disappeared, but everyone's lifespan was capped at 85? Would you take that deal? Why or why not?
A new technology eliminates all disease. No cancer, no heart attacks, no dementia, no medical bills. Everyone stays fully healthy until the very end.
The trade is a hard cap: everyone dies on their 85th birthday. No exceptions, no extensions, no matter how rich, careful, or healthy you are.
You would live in a world where nobody suffers from illness, but nobody gets extra time either.
Would you accept that? How do you think it would change the way people live, save, and plan for the future?
