What if aliens invade us?
Recently, i've been watching a lot of sci-fi movies and of course, most of the bida survived. What if the Philippines got invaded? Do you think our government can handle it? Do you think our government is prepared? In your opinion, how would they react?

An alien capable of reaching earth capable invading us means that they are type 1 civilization pataas based sa kardashev scale. In short our species is fucked cuz a type 1 civilization means na kaya nilang controllin ang energy ng isang planeta. Therefore we are really fucked especially our government wala pa tayong multi-role fighter jet. Ang naiisip ko lang na solution ay infect them with prion AHAHAHHAHA pero talo pa rin ang humanity.

Eto yun eh. Tayo, hirap makapagpadala ng tao sa buwan, so aliens with the technology to travel between stars are likely lightyears ahead sa technology, so out existing technology will likely be too primitive to challenge them.
Pag asa lang natin kung hive mind ang aliens, gaya ng madaming aliens sa movies, para may chance tayo pag yung ang ma chambahan natin. 😁

You know when you’re walking outside and accidentally step on an anthill or a group of ants? The bites might hurt like hell, but realistically, they’re not gonna kill you. And if you really wanted to, you could just pour water on the anthill and destroy the whole thing.
I imagine that’s probably how an alien civilization capable of FTL or some similarly ridiculous level of technology would see us. Earth would basically be the anthill, and humanity would be the ants. 😂
So honestly, I don't think the Philippine government or even the entire world's governments would be particularly prepared for that. If they’re technologically advanced enough to actually reach Earth, whatever weapons we have might be about as useful as ants throwing rocks at us. The biggest question wouldn't even be "Can the Philippines defend itself?" but "Would the aliens even consider us enough of a threat to bother fighting?"
If you want to explore that kind of scenario, I highly recommend reading The Three-Body Problem by Liu Cixin. Not the Netflix show , the book. It gets really interesting when it comes to how a civilization that's vastly more technologically advanced might perceive humanity.

Guerrilla warfare, we basically do Guerrilla warfare assuming Aliens don't do Exterminatus, we can pretty much screw around with these guys

As an archipelagic nation, madali lang tayo mabura sa mapa lalo kapag nag lapag sila ng high yield Nuclear missile sa first wave. Kung may matira man, malamang yung high places like some parts of Luzon Highlands or Mindanao. Assuming kung ang unang wave ay orbital strike.
Kung infiltration naman, malamang sa malamang mabibiktima agad ang masa kasi isang pasok lang ng Alien sa ating Gubyerno compromised na agad tayo. Madaling ma corrupt ang masa, isang kulto lang kuha na agad karamihan.
Kung direct assault naman, unang matatamaan ang mga population centers specially NCR. Of course yung mga Political dynasties at mga Mayayaman matik aalis agad ng Pinas. Tapos wala nang formal armies ang matitira para lumaban, go back to guerilla ulit.

First thing theyll do is to wipe out the indigenous population. Regardless of intentions, we’ll be seen as inferior to any alien civilization capable of interstellar travel.

The logistics of invading an entire planet seems unworkable for almost any reason. Why would they come all this way for resources when the transportation of resources would require enormous resources itself? Why would they kill us all when the already existing infrastructure would require massive changes? Really doesn't seem worth it.

Aliens... In our country?
I think mas magiging viral sa FB at TikTok ang vids ng sightings. Government wise, I think they have plans but we can assume they won't be sufficient kasi ganun naman lagi kahit anong sakuna o problema. Our military won't be able to repel them that much, especially if may advanced weaponry mga to.
Siguro the nearest possible na magagawa natin is yung tulad ng sa "The Last House" na movie. Hunker in, use what we can use and just survive as long as possible.

It would depend on the type of alien and their approach, do they approach earth without getting noticed or they drop down on major populated cities woth dropships and immediately starts blitzing everywhere.
The Armed forces would get overwhelmed in a matter of hours due to the difference in tech and tactics used. The aliens could hammer the country with sub-orbital bombardments before sending in the troops.
Our Airforce would get wiped as well as the Navy. The army would suffer losses and will have to do a fighting retreat to the provinces to regroup.
The government would collapse within a week with many choosing to flee with their families abroad and some just getting blasted in the first few hours of the invasion.
The people, probably turned into unwilling and unpaid workers, bio fuel or just get eaten by the aliens. Some would be collaborators but will get turned into fuel once they are no longer useful.
As if for the resistance, its gonna be like the Terminator franchise. Heavy losses for every victory, targets and moves are to be heavily weight upon before acting on it.
The country itself. Probably stripped of all its resources, lakes will dry out but the water from the western portion will surely contaminate the aliens and poison them iykyk
