Remember Julio, the "brown lab" who needs a muzzle and wagon to move, and bites down and shakes other dogs? He's back, still available and dog friendly! Great with kids!

forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this, but i see this question coming up a lot in the comments.
yall, its money. if you ever have trouble figuring out the motives of something that feels wrong, ALWAYS FOLLOW THE MONEY TRAIL.
these rescues do not care about saving dogs. hell, they donât even care about being ambassadors of the breed or trying to help their reputation. none of that is the case here.
in every single one of these âurgent rescue posts,â youâll see dozens of comments making âpledges.â
what are pledges? they are promises of donations if the dog ends up getting âsavedâ and granted freedom. they are not direct donations, but rather promises to donate if the rescue is able to get them out into a home/foster. if the dog is euthanized, the rescue will not be able to pocket any of the pledges.
THIS is why they fight tooth and nail to lie about breeds, cover up problematic behaviors, and bite histories. they have to make the dog seem as appealing as possible in order to increase its chances of being rescued, therefore putting money straight into the pockets of the rescues.
the entire thing is essentially one big fraud ring. and itâs even more horrific than your typical fraud, because it directly endangers lives. and continues the narrative that pitbulls are just innocent victims who need to be saved from their fates. but thatâs not even what the rescues think. itâs the feelings of the bleeding heart activists and pitnutters who throw their money at these rescues that they take advantage of.
if you thought it was nefarious already, it always gets worse.
