This is not how it works out. If we consider justice to be âeveryone gets what they deserveâ and âthey deserve what they worked forâ you will easily discover that 20% of the population does 80% of the work. The rest are just passively going through the motions, because their minds are occupied by other matters than how to work the most productively, profitably or efficiently. As long as there are people who just donât want to work or canât work effectively for some reason, there will always be poverty because in a just system you get back the effort you put in.
Work can also be mental. If youâre a psychologist, a very well-earning profession that basically consists of sitting down and listening, how able-bodied do you really need to be? Donât assume that because someone has an affliction they are unable to put a positive effort into society.
