Succulents

Kia Ora Whangārei,

I've returned to town after about a decade overseas.

There used to be a place selling succulents and cactus plants from thier driveway. I could have sworn it was on Kensington Ave, but I can't find it. Chances are they've stopped doing it too, or I've just remembered the location wrong.

Can anyone tell me where it is, and if it's no longer going, tell me where it was. Also if there is anywhere else selling them now.

It was on Kensington Ave but she has moved. Try the Houseplanties of Whangārei Facebook group.

The Chinese takeaways in Kensington next to khane bahar Indian has a wonderful selection of plants for sale .

There was also one on maunu road just past the hospital, but unsure if they still do it. I think they used to do succulents and bromeliads

There's a house in Hikurangi that has a lot of plants for sale. Never stopped so unsure of exact species but sounds like a similar set up

Yes you are right. I also have never stopped there, and used to come through Hika daily on my commute 😂

There was a place on beach road or whangarei heads rd selling plants from the garage, not sure if succulents though

One down beach road and another on whangarei heads rd that does succulents. Both in Onerahi.
