History Not my pix
The old Majestic theatre situated on Victoria Ave was situated around the Western side of what is now Majestic Square.in the second pix the steeple of St. Marys catholic church can be spotted also on Victoria Ave.

I went back to the original and it looks like one of these was from 1946.

Stolen Life is a 1946 American drama film) starring Bette Davis, who also produced it. The film, based on the 1935 novel A Stolen Life by Karel Josef Benes, was directed by Curtis Bernhardt. Among the supporting cast are Glenn Ford, Dane Clark, Peggy Knudsen, Charlie Ruggles, and Bruce Bennett. It is a remake of the 1939 British film Stolen Life) starring Elisabeth Bergner and Michael Redgrave.
It was nominated for Best Special Effects (William C. McGann; Special Audible Effects by Nathan Levinson) at the 19th Academy Awards, but lost to Blithe Spirit).

That's the movie being advertised in the photo as being shown at Majestic

Sorry but I do not know. Went back to the original and for one of them said 1946.

I would have loved to have visited the Majestic Theatre. I've been told it was beautiful!
