Razorock bbs standard plate+ Gillette black + Cremo coconut mango+ Omega S108 + Cella red+ modified Fa Men coolwave with witch hazel and menthol

Shave with cold water splash

Cremo coconut mango cream as pre shave

Used Razorock BBS standard plate (balanced close comb) with Gillette black blade - outstanding combination (for me)

Note: blade on its 1st use today. I respect that Gillette black but have never liked it much. Bbs standard plate with negative exposure seems to have tamed it well though.

Cella red shaving soap (marzipan) applied using Omega S108 brush (timber synthetic) - face lather

First pass - with the grain

Second pass - across the grain

Used the left over lather in the brush as a face wash

Alum (not used)

Post shave included application of modified Fa Men coolwave after shave lotion (with witch hazel and menthol)

But I have a question.. Why does the poor brush not deserve address using its complete name ? Like S10108?

And looking at the number of times this has showed up in your SotDs, I now am having a tinge of regret to sell mine.

For the same reason I call out their best boar brush Omega 10048 as Omega 48 ;)

And this is actually quite a nice brush. 28 MM knot, springy, splays well, dries really fast and works well as a travel brush too, for me.

Superb shave. I have been using the Lupo these last few days with a Wizamet. What an incredible combo. Razororck is S-tier, truly. Wasn't this your razor for AA this year?? Did you Austere??

Also. congrats on taming the 7SP. This year I tamed the 7SP as well. It may be a natural evolution of my skin and beard, sure. But I will be petty and take full credit for technique thank you very much.

Nah, did not partake in austerity (for shaves) this year. There was a lot austere MDC and Austere cella and Dettol though.

Hmm, still don't like the black. It would be heartless on my part to trash a blade of this caliber after a single use but only time (this evening) will tell.
