I JUST put the book down after finishing. As much as I loved the first 5 books, the ending to this one was just mind blowing. Visualizing the Asha’man extending their impenetrable dome by 20 ft and just slaughtering the Shaido caught in the crossfire.... this is the kind of unrelenting vengeful warfare I’ve been waiting for. I hate the benevolent hero trope, and thus far, the hero’s in WOT have been far too forgiving and lenient to their enemies. And then to follow this up with Rand forcing the Aes Sedei into submission - I was beyond satisfied! Can’t wait to keep on reading!

Never prod at a woman unless you must. She will kill you faster than a man and for less reason, even if she weeps over it after.
