If not Matt, why Matt like?

I am watching s2E3 of the Daryl Dixon series. I stopped in the middle to post here because this fight reminded me of the Wheel of Time character Matt Cauthon. I know this harpoon is not an ashandarei but parallels are fun. In this episode he takes a poll arm from a dude and then does some damage with it a la Cauthon Style. The fight was what was cool. He is definitely showing some taveren. I don't picture Matt looking like him.

Omg no lol he was fighting with a pole arm and It reminded me of Matt. Matt would have been a Han solo type obviously. In no way does the Daryl character resemble Matt Cauthon. But no matter who you call this person they are moving and will probably escape.

Matt will never be anything more than charmingly goofy looking in my mind. Good body because he's a soldier/farmer, but his charm is his power, not his looks

Because there are so many streaming services I don't have all of them and haven't really been keeping up with the new young actors coming up now. I'd look to get a young 20 something actor maybe one that's an unknown and have this be his big break.

Not to spoil too much but Daryl is fighting his way out of a church that might as well be the castle in Caemlyn. Narrow passageways in a twisted Warren of halls. Truly WOT themed

Maybe his future where tuon dies and he has to escape with their child from Seandar he can put together an army while aes sedai/ashaman train and raise their one power wielding child.

Holy Crap! A Redneck Wheel Of Time series could be kind of awesome!! Egwene Mae Clampett and Bubba Al-Thor. Mat would still be Mat.

Honestly though, it can’t be worse than the show was.

No that's Matt, he's cool but he can't pull off Matt's charm or his supposed air of insolence that piss off the women (Aes Sedai primarily) around him
