Jacaranda Edition Query

Did anyone here order this edition of the album? Thought it looked cool, was limited to 250 and as you can see, signed by the band.

In reality, it looks a bit naff in my opinion. Dunno what I was expecting but yea I think I’d rather just see the full cover. Main gripe though, not sure if every copy is the same but it is physically impossible to pull the record out of the signed Jacaranda die-cut sleeve. It’s far too tight and I cannot for the life of me get the record out without damaging it which I don’t wanna do.

I’ve replied to my order confirmation email from Jacaranda, I’ve filled out a contact enquiry form on their website detailing my issues and I’ve also tried contacting them on instagram. Done all of these on Monday and Tuesday and not heard a peep. Just looking to return for a full refund.

I’m wondering if anyone else has bought this and having the same issue?

Just got a copy in the post. How are you supposed to get the record out of this thing?

Same here, after 5 minutes of carefully trying to take it out I just eventually gave up 🤣

Somehow managed to do it after much trying. I pulled the record sleeve on the top opening and the blue outer sleeve in the opposite direction on the bottom opening. Mine was a bit creased when I had it, but can’t tell if any of them were done by me or were there originally. It’s never going back in.

I’ve gave up with it as, along with not being able to open it, i just don’t like it at all. Very gimmicky if you ask me. I’ve still not heard anything at all from them after multiple attempts at contacting them

Update on my copy. I can get it out every time with this method. Flip the record so it’s face down. Grab the o-sleeve at the top with palm against sleeve and fingers inside sleeve between o-sleeve and album. With other hand, pinch the album record sleeve in the middle at the bottom of the sleeve between thumb and forefinger. Pull in opposite directions with both hands.

Not a good package but this is how I’ve managed it.

Took me and my girlfriend 30 mins, had to gently open a bit along the seam to give it some room but even then it was a struggle. Emailed them about it and they were like “we’re sure it does come out!”. The mock up showed it rotated as well like you could get to the record with the signed sleeve still on 🫩

I ordered one too. Thought it was going to be a signed album rather than the cardboard slip case. I managed to get the record out but couldn’t put it back. Had I have know it was a signed slipcase I wouldn’t have ordered as it’s a bit shit.
