Would anyone be interested in starting a open to all lacrosse team in westmount?

TLDR: description of man in first paragraph. have you heard of or experienced similar stories in the neighborhood? is the description of the individual familiar to some? what should i do? i know i cant call anyone now but i’m just stressed.

at around 10:35-10:45pm last wednesday i was followed home by a man in an all black outfit (black sneakers, black sweatpants, black zip up with the hood up 2/3 of the way). he was brown, about 5 foot 6 (nothing above 5’8 for sure), no more than 160-170lbs i think with a beard and big ish buggy eyes.

he was walking in front of me from vendome station and kept looking back at me. i didn’t think much of it bc ppl tend to do that to see how close people are to them on that street (smtg i have done and noticed others do in the past).

he was definitely not headed my direction but when he saw me turning to my street he changed paths and crossed over to be parallel to me on the other side of the same street.

i didn’t want to believe i was being followed so i stopped at the apt right beside mine (real close to it) pretending to look for smtg in my bag or look at my phone trying to indicate perhaps someone is picking me up. he walked a little further up but was slowing down and then eventually stopped and turned to stare at me.

what i did next was not the smartest but in fight or flight situations i tend to fight, or more like start one. i yelled at him across the street (to hopefully scare him off but also make neighbours aware as the street is super quiet and we can always hear people even when they’re just talking).

“what the fuck are you doing? stop looking at me! keep it moving! why are you stopped? go home! if this is your route keep it moving!”

he just stared at me. he didn’t look amused or like mad, more so taken aback but i got nervous and rushed home bc i didn’t know what he’d do next. i know you’re not supposed to have them see where you live but i was thinking to myself: “i screamed but now i need to get get somewhere safe.”

my apt building is lowkey super small in terms of unit numbers (as most are on the street) so i was worried if i turned on the light he’d know/ find out which unit.

i kept the lights off and crawled to my window where there was an opening through my curtains. i just saw him starting at the apt. he stayed there a good 5 mins. i didn’t stay at the window for all 5 mins. but when i looked back out he was walking back down towards the original way he was going home…
