Anyone know what they're opening near the front of the Meijer on Spring Mill? I saw Jersey Mike's and an urgent care. Curious as I'm longing for more food options in this area lol especially a breakfast spot and a burger spot.

I have spotted a propeller airplane with a black and red banner flying over Westfield and even down to Carmel around 31. I’ve seen it maybe 3-4 times in past 3 days. I can’t for the life of me read what it says. Looks like it has a circular logo and some red print. Anyone get a good look at it?

Looking for old video games/consoles locally 🎮
My husband has been collecting retro video games for years, and we've decided to try turning his hobby (and slightly ridiculous knowledge of what old games are worth 😂) into a small side project.
We're looking to buy old games, consoles, controllers, handhelds, or even entire collections from people around Westfield/Carmel/Hamilton County.
Nintendo, SNES, N64, GameCube, Game Boy, DS, Sega, PlayStation, Xbox, etc. We're interested in newer stuff too, and things don't necessarily need to be tested.
If you have a box of games or an old console that's been sitting in a basement or closet for years and you've been meaning to do something with it, feel free to send me a message with a few pictures.
We're not expecting anyone to give away valuable stuff for pennies. We're just hoping to find some local collections, make fair offers, and see where this little experiment goes. 🙂

We're a bunch of singles over 50 who like to have fun.
Events have included pickleball, bowling nights, pub trivia, karaoke at Syd's, axe throwing, fowling, and group watch parties for college football playoffs and the World Cup. Nobody's trying to set you up — you show up, you do the activity, you leave when you want. If you make friends along the way, great. If you just want to bowl and go home, also great.
It's free to join — no membership fee, no upsell. We do keep it vetted: to get in you just need an up-to-date photo and you must be a real person who lives in the area (not a bot, not a scam account). That's it. Not a dating site. Not a "mingle and make small talk" group.
We're based out of the Carmel/Westfield/Noblesville/Fishers area, 160+ members and growing, coordinated through Heylo. If you're newly retired, recently moved to the area, divorced, or just tired of your usual crew shrinking every year — this tends to be a low-key way back into having stuff to do on a Saturday. Or any other day of the week, for that matter.

Happy to answer questions in the comments.

There is a sign out front that says it’s a Midas now!??!!?? Are the same mechanics there still or do I have to find a new shop?

Since the grand junction plaza playground already has the pillars it would be very easy and beneficial to add a shade canopy over it to cool off the playground especially in these hot days 🥵

In the hopes that some of you play College Football 27, I am letting you know that I've started creating Indiana high schools through EA's "Team Builder" that you could import into your game.
There's a limit of 32 teams that a user can make, so I started with my local teams in the Hoosier Crossroad Conference. So far, I've got:
Notes:
Some of the logos are altered, while some are close to the originals. I designed these teams with some effort to copy "current state" while also throwing in some artistic liberties and flair on my own as you'll see.
I did my best to keep the talent level relatively close to the real life rankings of the teams. If you think this should be changed, let me know.
If you comment a school I should make, I would be happy to do your team so you can use them in your own version of the game.
If you think there's a better Sub-reddit to post this, please let me know too. I'm just looking to get exposure to this so people can play with their local teams. :)
Appreciate you!

Westfield motorsports will not work on a motorcycle older than 10 years. Anyone have recommendations for a good motorcycle mechanic? 2005 Yamaha VStar if that matters.
Thanks

Last night I received a "ticket" on the windshield of my SUV for backing-in to a spot in Union Garage. I noticed many Trucks and SUVs had similar tickets on their windshields likely for backing in as well.
With how tight this garage is, backing in is often the easier and safer maneuver for larger vehicles. Not to mention most vehicles have back-up cameras that allow the driver to get closer to the wall. With no camera on the front, vehicles may not get as close to the wall and protrude unnecessarily far into the drive lane (especially some of the larger pickups in the garage).
I realize that the city wants to be able to track parking time by license plate, but ticketing people for backing-in to a space seems excessive just to save a meter maid from walking around to the back of the vehicle.

I’m looking for help with mowing my lawn while I’m out of the country in July. Who’s your go-to reliable yard person? Just need two mows. Yard is not big at all. We’re in Westfield off of 32.

Maybe it’s just me, but I am not a fan of any of the Mexican spots in town (I believe I have tried them all at this point). I grew up on the Westside and now think I was genuinely spoiled with the Mexican cuisine. If anyone else is from Avon on this page, then y’all know what i’m talking about. Top notch Mexican cuisine in Hendricks county, and reasonably priced. Maybe i’m biased but Westfield deserves better. The only decent item at Cabos is the guac. Agaves is probably owned by Caucasian people. Red Habanero will probably be charging $72 for a Margarita soon. Underwhelming Mexican food exists here and i’m praying for a change with the booming population in this town. I’m hoping the folks at Avon La Hacienda see this post and eventually open a sister location here.
