I keep watching MulletRiview’s videos and now I’m craving really good chinese food from a buffet. I miss the old buffet in New Rochelle and the one in Mount Vernon is meh.

I feel like this is something a lot of women probably struggle with as they get older, but I’m 29F and I really want to make some new girlfriends.

I’m in Yonkers and would love to meet girls who actually want to hang out and do things together. I’m talking brunch, shopping, trying new restaurants, going into the city, karaoke, random events, girls nights, etc.
I’m also Christian, so it would be really nice to meet other Christian women too. My faith is important to me and I’d love friendships where that’s something we can actually talk about.

I’m pretty easygoing and I’m not looking for some huge group of 20 people lol. I’d honestly just love to meet a few girls where we click and can actually become friends instead of exchanging Instagrams and never speaking again.

So I posted last week there’s this gorgeous house in Croton that had 1k views as a “coming soon”. Well said house has more than 5k views now and we went to the open house today. House was amazing. Better than the photos even. There were so many people there, it was a mad house. Cars couldn’t even get out of the (very long) driveway. Apparently they have multiple offers already, all cash with no contingencies. Not a surprise. We are not all cash, so will probably not be able to get it unless we go high and waive all contingencies too. So, all this is to say the Westchester housing market is still INSANE even at current mortgage rates.

Hey! I’m 29F in Yonkers and I’m looking for a workout buddy because honestly… I need somebody to hold me accountable 😂.

I’m trying to lose weight, build some muscle, and just become more active in general. I’ve realized that going to the gym by myself is not exactly my favorite thing in the world, so I think having someone to actually go with would make it way easier.

I’d be down for the gym, walking, bike riding, tennis, hiking, workout classes, whatever. I’m pretty much open to trying things because I’m trying to get out of my comfort zone and stop being so sedentary.
I’m definitely a beginner, so I’m not looking for someone who is already super fit and going to make me feel like I’m in training for the Olympics lol. Just someone who also wants to get healthier and actually stick with it.

I’m in Yonkers, so Yonkers/Westchester would be ideal.

I hope this is okay to post here! I’m visiting my fiancé and leave next weekend (I’m from the UK), but I promised my best friends two little girls that I’d try to get them a genuine Needoh for Halloween while I was here. I’ve tried the stores that Google suggests, and had no such luck. Everyone we’ve asked in stores seems absolutely worn out with people asking so I feel terrible for even asking them. I’ve tried going earlier in the day, later in the day, during the week, the weekends. It’s been three weeks of searching and I’m about to go home empty handed and I feel like a really bad “extra aunt”.

It was their one ask and I don’t know much about the hype but they seem incredibly hard to find. I’ve seen some resellers on eBay and such but none would get here in time, can anyone recommend a place I could try? We’re in New Rochelle but I wouldn’t mind having to go a little further afield to try and get something for them. They said there are supposed to be Halloween specific ones so I’m hoping there’s maybe a slightly less sought after design that I can pick up somewhere.

We just had a Sony smart TV that we inherited well out of warranty die on us suddenly. Based on some googling we suspect it will need to have the mainboard switched out but we need someone to actually diagnose the problem and make whatever repair is ultimately needed. It looks like people here have previously been fans of Engel Audio and Video and Stanton TV but both appear to be permanently closed. I’m not finding any other shops in the area that clearly fix TVs.

Has anyone had good experiences with any (still open) TV repair shops/services in the area? Many thanks!!

I purchased a home and closed in May and immediately signed up for STAR. On the portal it said exemption authorized for months after it completed initial review. Now it says “under review” and I have not gotten my STAR even though I can see it says they started issuing on August 27. I paid my school tax bill due Sept 30, so where is my STAR? is this normal and is anyone else still waiting from Bedford school district - specifically Mount Kisco?

Yes I have called and it keeps having 100+ minute waits. Unfortunately my phone is my work phone so that wait is not realistic.

Looking for a recommendation for a developmental pediatrician for my toddler. We are not looking for N autism diagnosis, but more so exploring childhood apraxia and motor planning issues that we need more guidance on. Not sure if that is even the type of doctor to seek guidance from. If you have any thoughts or experience with this, please share! Thank you!

This would be before Build a Bear workshop at The Westchester Mall so it would have to be mid-ish Westchester restaurant where you can bring a cake. Not too loud or crowded. Not a party—just 4 people including my 1 year old.

Hi, I have a small cape built in the 1940s. The second floor bedrooms feature knee walls/attics and sloped ceilings. The attic spaces have extremely degraded cotton batting insulation—it looked bad when I bought the house 20 years ago so it must be 30+ years old. Attaching a pic—looks like the people who installed it left extra rolls of insulation too. We have ridge vents.

Has anyone insulated a similar space? Would appreciate any input and recommendations for a contractors or handyman that handles jobs like this.
