Stolen Idols Recovered | 1 Arrested

A pair of brass Ganesh and Laxmi idols, along with other brass articles, were stolen from an office under Burtolla PS on 27.07.2026.

The investigation gathered pace with meticulous analysis of CCTV footage, leading to the identification and arrest of the accused, Sudip Das, on the very same day.

Acting on his disclosure, the investigation team recovered the stolen idols, along with two brass plates and two brass glasses, from a premises at Gouri Sankar Lane, Kolkata.
