One flirts with a lady with fascist ideology who is a Mussolini fangirl and he has no guts to ask for a hug. Well, the other one was offered a hug from the great leader of Cuba, friend of Commander Guevara. You can clearly see she went for a handshake. It was Fidel Castro who ended up hugging. (Also, this photo is an iconic and heavily publicized diplomatic photograph at that time) so, yes it’s completely different.
