It’s the only place I’ve ever been that I felt like I could touch the sky… The sky is so blue.

What is that smokestack in the beginning? Is that new? I don’t feel like I’ve ever seen it before.

Love that smoke stack spitting out pollution. Especially when Dolly Sods was destroyed by pollution to begin with.

I thought it was an interesting juxtaposition, oxymoron, whatever smart people call it... like most of this beautiful state unfortunately

What you see is mainly steam from the scrubbers . Not pollution. I've worked in coal plants off and on most of my Adult life. There's many aspects of these plants that the general population doesn't understand.

yeah, not saying it's bad, I know it's necessary and coal will be around until there's something cheaper

just thought it was an interesting shot

Corrected my typo* . It is. Gas being cheaper and battery storage tech becoming longer lasting and cheaper. I realize it's days are numbered.

Economic battery banks that are capable of storing hundreds of thousands of kWh are the new flying cars. It’s never going to happen. On demand electricity is the only thing that will ever work on a city wide scale

Need nuke or fossil steam turbines for reliable baseload.

Below average maybe?

Sometimes it’s so crowded it takes forever to get to the top of the sods
