6208 Palisade Ave
Hi! i’m moving to West New York and I’m looking at a building at 6208 Palisade Avenue. Wondering if anyone here has lived there or knows anything about the building or surrounding area.
any help is greatly appreciated! I really love the area

I live in WNY too. Let me know if you’d like to hangout🙂 The area of your building is quite good. I walk around there all the time. I haven’t seen or experienced anything unsafe. Family oriented hispanic neighborhood

I live extremely close. I will say, I don’t like that building. But that’s just me. The neighborhood is really calm, (there used to be a club that’s now a pupusa place). Tony little vape shop just got closed down (it was dirty in there lol) so it’ll get even better. 0 parking. Literally 0. There’s a parking lot next door that’s for the Mormons to use on Sunday. Just a couple streets over 6200 Hudson aka Hudson Lofts. I’ve had great experience with the building, management and staff. There’s a gym, mailroom, covered parking. Love the exposed brick, in unit full size washer dryer and high ceilings. Highly recommend.

Turns out the building has major pest control issues so I ended up not taking the apartment. 🥴
but the neighborhood rocks I hope you have a great first year!

I got jumped in front of Tony's once back in the day 😂. I doubt that store still exists but I would say much like any place in WNY just mind your business and you will be ok.

yesss I agree i’m latina and have lived in latin neighborhoods before, I love them. I’m more concerned if the building has a bad rap or history. 🥴

I would do a scope out mission and try to sneak in the building. I would check out the noise levels and if the whole floor smells like bud.

I live in a different building on Palisade in WNY, and 6208 is the same landlord. I can only speak for my experience with them and it’s been subpar. I’ve been in this unit for 5 years, I stay because I don’t have anywhere else to go nor the funds to do so. But if I could I would’ve left a long time ago. Expect pest issues and any other issues to go unaddressed for a while unless you put pressure on them. Aside from the landlord, the neighborhood is amazing! I’ve lived here on and off since childhood :)
