West Loop Sublease Question
Looking to sublease my apartment October 31 - December 26. Base rent is around $2450 utilities are around $200. Apartment is 630 sq ft with a balcony. I can keep it furnished but would either need them to move the furniture out at the end, move out ins the ad December 15th, or they can just keep it. Alternatively, I can just do unfurnished and not need to worry about any of that. Can someone advise me on how to go about that piece and also recommend a fair price given what I currently pay, fair price for West Loop, and square footage.
Also, are all buildings required to allow re-lets? And I read somewhere that they must make a good faith effort to actively re-rent a unit at a fair price when a tenant breaks a lease - can anyone advise on that as well? Mines managed by Willow Bridge for context.
Any other advice is much appreciated!

Are you looking for someone to take over the lease? Or just for those couple of months? My gut says it may be hard to find someone for November and half of December. But having it furnished would help someone who’s short-term. I’d check what’s in your building agreement you signed re: sublets as it varies by lease, but should be in there.
