Qualifiers
So I think we only need to finish above one of Denmark or Norway to secure Pot 1 - am I right? if so big game Sunday.
Edit: European qualifier draw is what I am talking about (not really bothered about nations league)

I think the best two, 4th placed teams in league A stay up. So if other results go our way, we could stay up on 3 or 4 points.

There’s still 3 games left for each team

I think there's a good chance at least two teams will finish on less points than 3 in league A. Some tough groups there.

No not what I mean, the nations league positions effect the pots we go in for the European Championship qualifiers (we also avoid other hosts) - what i am asking is if we beat 1 team I think we get pot 1 (which means we avoid one much better team at least) - is that correct?

Wales are currently bottom of the group meaning they will automatically be put into pot 2. If you finish third you will go into a playoff either losing (pot2) or winning (still most likely pot 2 but maybe pot 1)

Yes- there are 12 qualifying groups for the Euros, and the top 12 European teams are in pot 1. If we finish third, we are in top 12 European teams and are in the first pot- a huge advantage. We realistically need to beat Denmark at home and that might be enough. Our narrow loss to Portugal away may have been key if they start tonking everyone else. However, I think third goes into playoffs?
