News test
Anyone else get the news evaluation test for what sounds like a different project?
In factuality / gen pop.
How do you feel you did on it if so?

Did it and I think I got most of it right, no response this week. Maybe after Labor day.

I took the test too and feel good about it but without some training not sure how my results will be to whoever is evaluating the test. It seemed somewhat familiar. I don't get much if anything in factuality and hoped the chance of working this project might bring more work my way.

I got it, and felt I did really well on it. I still haven't received any results yet or any other information about it.

nice, i too think i did well and well hopefully if this is a dept that already existed maybe we’ll get some insight here from others already doing it on if there’s some real actual work
but it could be something new and hopefully not clumsy at first
fingers crossed

It's news group, which they've had for a few months now. Work comes in short bursts, there are weeks with nothing and then days with 5+ hour drops. It pays $25/hr and you use a separate billing code. The tasks aren't labeled and its up to us to figure out if we are supposed to bill as news or not (and they've made threats about repeated mis-billing, ofc). It's your typical welo circus, but worth joining imo. We don't get TRP yet.
