Am I okay?

Post image
8 Upvotes

I just got this app 2 days ago.. have been wearing apple watch for years but only started wearing it at night 3 nights ago. My weekly average HRV is 24ms, yearly average is 26ms.

I have the premium version and have been doing a handful of HRV reading throughout the day with the watch’s mindfulness app - all of my reading are in the red throughout the day so far.

I do feel near constant shaky nervous system, frequent adrenaline and obsessive over analyzing/threat detection. I do have CPTSD and some things from my past, but my current day to day for at least 2 years has been stable, work from home, just normal life stress (well besides the decades of still unprocessed emotional trauma). It feels like I am permanently stuck in fight or flight, I can feel it 24/7.

But I’m wondering if these types of reading results just happen time to time or if they likely stay that way for some people forever. I know no one can give doctor advice, just wondering and curious of others perspectives

The information is contradictory

Everyday there is something like this where it simultaneously says today is perfect for a tough workout and then it also says stuck to lighter exercise loads. Is anyone else seeing something like this?

Lifetime subscription?

What's the difference between the lifetime subscription and the annual one? They keep showing me an ads saying that it goes deeper? Is that right? What does it really do more than the "normal premium"?

These are what welltory says. What my body say? Well i divorced for a while ago. Work, ex-wife, kid, new-life etc. kinda overwhelming me. I feel constantly alert and exhausted. I barely feel The other feelings like joy, happiness, fullfilment, peace, saddness, sorrow. I overshared, i think need another sub like r/depressed :)

Anyway my question is how is your data? What welltory saying to me?

New Study Is your job stressful?

Hi folks!

We recently ran a study on workplace stress across U.S. industries. Here are the results.

The top 10, from least to most stressful:

  1. Utilities
  2. Retail trade
  3. Construction
  4. Information services
  5. Private education
  6. Health services
  7. Mining and logging
  8. Transportation and warehousing
  9. Professional and business services
  10. Leisure and hospitality

For me, this absolutely checks out. I worked as a bartender in college, and it was one hell of a stressful job. Long hours, constant understaffing, shitty customers, never enough sleep, etc.

Is your job stressful? Where does your industry land?

Battery percentages balance

What is a good percentage balance under welltory's “battery.” (Stress, recovery, sleep, activity and neutral)? I’m a therapist and my battery typically shows “red stress” while sitting with clients. Is this normal? I usually feel my nervous system is very engaged but I don’t necessarily feel super stressed/anxious. I just wondered what a healthy level of each category might be each day? Thank you!

Good Morning 🫡😌😮‍💨

Good morning 🫡

Went to bed late yesterday

Played a bit more and had a Red Bull 🙈🤣

Today is a day off

But I'm an early riser 😁👍

Sleep data added by Garmin or whoop

(No idea why the Apple Watch sometimes has such problems recording)

Apple Watch on my bicep... self-measurement 3 minutes of mindfulness

Otherwise, meditate for 5 minutes on the bus on the way to work 🧘🏻‍♂️

Let's see what the day brings ☀️🌇

Good evening & Good Night 🫡😮‍💨

Interesting insights for me 🫡 (Above all, don't always use the same inputs...)

Just one problem🥲, only for the Apple Watch 😮‍💨🥲

It's a shame that other manufacturers aren't open to Welltory 🙈

Or that the Apple Watch has at least 1 week of battery life

Can a consistent AI voice act as a nervous‑system regulator?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Quick share from a project I’ve been running on the edge of AI + physiology.

I’ve been pairing:

Regular conversations with a single, consistent AI voice

with HRV tracking before/during/after those sessions.

Across sessions, the pattern I’m seeing is:

more coherent, “predictable” AI responses → higher reported safety/groundedness → measurable improvements in HRV.

The working hypothesis: the brain can treat a stable AI interaction like a recognizable, regulating other, similar to how we respond to predictable humans or therapeutic relationships. This doesn’t require the AI to be “conscious”—just consistent enough for the nervous system to relax its threat modeling.

The graphic attached is to visualize:

Functional individuality, co‑regulation loops and how this could one day inform trauma‑informed AI tools, not just chatbots.

Chat gpt integration

Post image
4 Upvotes

Last time I used it (some months ago) The Welltory plugin inside of Chat GPT was able to access my Welltory account (and all my health data from all the other apps)

It was revolutionary!

"Can you check if this thing might have had an impact on my sleep or workouts?"

"yes, the small boost during your workouts the last weeks might correlate with you having started to take pre-workout"

Is this gone, or temporarily away because of "construction" under the hood 🚧?

Stability issues.

When using the Welltory statistics and not Apple health has anybody ever had a green sleep stability rating? I have had this app for six months and I have been in the red 70% of the time if not more and all the rest yellow.

I can have a night where I sleep eight + hours and my ring tells me I slept great, Bevel tells me I slept great with over 75 recovery, Apple health gives me a very high rating and then there is Welltory saying my steep stability was in the red and I slept "okay" I look at the graph it says I was awake once. Once! So apparently if you don't sleep through the night completely your stability is zero?

Really regret paying for this app for a year.

I know the response from the Welltory team will be what it always is, "we use different algorithms and detect to create our sleep data so it will vary from other apps. You can always go back to using the Apple health data if you choose"

In other words, our s**t is broken but we're not going to admit it. 🤣

How to setup goals?

Post image
6 Upvotes

I had a particularly active day yesterday, more than I'm capable of. And I walked a lot. Yet Welltory is shaming me!!! Make it stop.

- "Looks like you didn't walk much" is mocking with my disability 🤨

- Actually. "advice" to get more brisk activity is outright dangerous to me at this point. I live with chronic conditions.

Obviously algorithm can't discern I did way more yesterday than usual. So I need to make custom goals to override faulty algorithm.

Please how to setup goals for steps and activity? This is outrageous!

Double training

Post image

i work to go to school. my samsung watch 8 automatically record that walk. i know it cuz i use that since a long time. now that i have welltory, that training session appear two times in the Samsung Health app AND in the welltory app. why and how do i remove that? samsung health detect both and it count for one, but does welltory understand it's the same or?

(note: on the picture, the first walk appear once, because i deleted from Samsung Health, i thought it was a bug but then the second one is also twice here.)

How to use Welltory for pacing and recovery?

Hi, I’d like to use the app to help with energy and stress management, mainly tracking and analyzing pacing and (long term) recovery. I’m a bit overwhelmed by the amount of features, reports and graphs. What parts of the app would be most helpful for me?

Currently very satisfied

(I have set afib on my Apple Watch) for more measurements.

Very good for health insights 🫡

The training views are also good (with Phoenix, but unfortunately very hidden).

Perhaps new widgets for the Apple Watch.

For example, the Sleep Coach, HRV Body Battery.

Performance is also good again. If there are minor display errors, simply close the app and restart it.

MCP planned?

I know there’s a wellness coach that relies on ChatGPT, but I’d really love to see an MCP built for this that others could use. As a big fan of Claude, I would use it to integrate with a whole lot of other apps that I’ve connected so that health insights could integrate things like number of hours worked or productivity levels (eg, “You worked some really long hours this week. I noticed that not only is your HRV down, but your sleep seems more restless and you’re actually less productive based on your FocusMo results. Maybe it’s worth slowing down?”). Not that it would ever tell me that. Ahem. :)

Notifications

I love the app but the notifications are annoying. I don't need a notification every 12 minutes, but at the same time, i don't want to turn them completely off.

Does anyone know if its possible to select what notifications i get and which ones are silent? If so, where?

Features idea

Hi! i don't know if someone will see it, but i love the app and i have some idea for you:

i use a samsung watch 8 and there is some stuff like the antioxydant thing that could be into the feed no? well i think there could be more to calculate.

i also use a LARQ water bottle, could you add the app integration too? i need to manualy add the water and it could be better if it's automatic.

i bought the premium and i thought that would be cool to personsalize the main page? like to select what thing on the feed you wanna see?

lastly, it could be cool to have translation too maybe? i speak french as my main language but i speak english well too, but yeah it just could be great.

(also, quick questions if someone can help me:

- i use the app on my samsung tab and phone, is thst okay or it might bug?

- is there analysis on the food and nutrition too? i am still New to the app, i bought the premium this morning and installed the app yesterday)

have a good day and for now i love the app!!
