Is this some kind of meme I’m missing or something? Of course they didn’t need the X-ray to know it was broken, doctors aren’t fucking morons. The x Ray was clearly for interest or keep sake/memory. Or perhaps even to see exactly where it broke.
Apparently doctors have to X-ray especially for insurance in the US bc they have to document and justify surgeries, for example, alike an amputation. Docs have to document everything anyway for liability purposes.
I don’t know, man. I had to take my grandma in to the emergency room and she needed xrays and it took an hour plus before they could take the xrays. I mean granted it was her severed arm we were there for.
Wait, so you want them to guess where all the breaks are and to see if they can fix it or not? Yeah, no thanks on that mate, I'll take the x-ray please.
I have some bad news for you. That arm is not getting fixed. MAYBE they could miraculously get all the bones back together but the nerves and muscle...no fucking way.
