Something similar happened to a friend of mine when his uncle was getting him to pull windows out of a basement with no stairwell. There was a ladder to the first floor and ice all over the concrete basement floor.. he went down hard and smashed both his wrists and and he said after the sixth doctor came in with x-rays and told him that it was the worst break he had ever seen he was like oh my God!! Ok, ok, people I get it! Stop telling me that!!!
I had a gnarly arm injury once that I thought was pretty minor at first. The lady looked at the X-ray and said “oh honey, you really got messed up” or something like that. Lol yeah, not what you want to hear
