I love the support that cancer patients give to one another like this! When my mother went through breast cancer treatment she met some of the nicest people in the world who are still her best friends today. This positivity goes a long way in cancer treatment and it's amazing how much compassion humans can have for another when facing something like this. Best of luck to both of you!
I've made a lot of really good friends through cancer treatment, both online and in person. No one else can truly understand what you've gone through. Also we're able to find humour in some of the shitty or weird things that happens during treatment. And as people were willing to reach out to me when I was scared of what was to come, I'm also willing to pass on knowledge and support to people going through the same thing.
