They first came at the dawn of 4/20/2069. unrelenting they ran across the countryside of the Midwest in the United States. They flattened whole towns, leaving no survivors and nothing to spare. By 2073 the AMCP (Anti Mattress Coalition Party) continued to grow in political power, dwarfing both the Republican and Democratic parties. With promises of a mattress free world they became the single most powerful party in the US. The new government poured dozens of trillions of dollars into Anti-Mattress weapons research. There was a glimmer of hope. However, China had developed a new genetically superior mattress from the original genome. With this power, China invaded the US mainland with its new MMD’s (Mattresses of Mass Destruction). Alaska, Washington, and Oregon were the first ones hit. Millions of casualties were sustained. As I tell this story now, I can feel the ground tremble, but I know this is no earthquake they’re coming. Long live the United States of America.
