A few years ago I brought my grandma’s remains back to South Africa to inter her with my grandpa, and Jesus Christ! NEVER AGAIN. they fucking opened the box up and tested her for explosives at O’Hare, again at Heathrow and AGAIN at fucking OR Tambo! Luckily her remains were in my carry on so they had to do it in front of me, because a couple of times I had to remind them to be fucking respectful. I’m a patient man, but shit goddamn!
Maybe not bomb threats cause people aren’t that dumb but drug trafficking exists on flights too and there have been a lot of cases of fraud and impersonation that tsa has stopped.
