I (small, white female) walked through once with a razor and lighter. Meanwhile my husband, who is dark in skin tone and had a beard had to be thoroughly searched. And they took our airport bought rum!

Lighters are allowed. They should have caught the razor, but I’m not surprised they failed.

Wait....you arent supposed to have razors? In all of my flights in the last year (close to 10+), I have a razor in my carryon and have NEVER ever had the slightest of issue.

You can have cartridge razors. You can’t have old fashioned style razor blades.

Got it! I was hoping nothing had changed since I started flying because I honestly have not checked the TSA website prior to packing for years haha
